The Lost Pixel

Yay! It is Tuesday morning and I am good and smiley this morning. I woke up around 11AM EDT to have my RL coffee and start my day. I seen Joe called on the phone after he got off work and listened to his sweet voicemail message which made me happy. I tried IM’ing him on Yahoo but maybe he is taking a nap or washing his bollocks or something. It is 11:30AM EDT now and I am just doing my geeky morning stuff. I seen the new 1.23.3RC client came out the other day so I downloaded the source and the Coolviewer patched and am compiling that now as seen in the photo. It has some bug fixes that I liked so I wanted the new version. I think I will get some laundry washing now while that compiles and then once it is finished login to Second Life. Joe is off until Friday so the next couple of days should be swell. Well time to start the laundry then. Until later….

….well it is finally 1:30PM EDT and I just had some vegetable stir fry for lunch. I like the kind from Costco because the stuff is proportioned correct and not just a bunch of broccoli stems and snap peas like other brands. I think Joe is washing clothes and cleaning his hoose or something so I guess I will call him and bother him in a few minutes. I compiled the new release candidate client and it seems to work better then the last version. I am glad they fixed the camera issues as well as the texture cache. Before you would face one direction for 5 minutes and turn around and everything would be grey. So that seems to be fixed and I yam happy that voice chat works and everything finally works in the Linux client. Well I guess I will call Joe now and see what he is up to and then take a shower and stuff. Back later….

…hi. It is 9PM and I took what I thought would be an easy two hour thing and turned it into a 5 hour thing. To be brief and not boring I wanted to update my system to Fedora 11 but decided to try OpenSuSe again on my desktop. That didn’t go well so I downloaded Fedora 11 and installed that. Mah poor sweetie has been very patient with me and I certainly appreciate that. Anyway I got Second Life running finally although voice doesn’t seem to work. I think I have a microphone volume issue and will fix that tomorrow. I guess other things are working so yay. Im sick of installing and setting up stuff so I will login to SL now I think. Everything mostly works anyway. More later and stuff….

It is nearly midnight and I am home with mah puddy with no music or voice chat. Decided to take a break from breaking things and hang out for a little while. Installed that Fedora 11 Linux and the voice chat was sorta working but decided to take 50% of CPU like it was doing before. I don’t know why everything worked perfect in Fedora 10 but not 11. Also when I play music it skips and sounds all messed up. I am trying not to sit here and think what is wrong with it and trying to spend a little time with Joe. I mean we talked on webcams earlier and on the telephone and in IM throughout the day but I feel like I neglect him when I am setting up stuff. Anyway going to hang out and go to sleep.
