The Lost Pixel

Hi Monday! It is 5:20AM MST and I am up having my coffee and having a sit at home in Second Life. I am glad I have the rent paid for a week so that I have more time to move my stuff out. I decided I am not going to keep the house on Second Life because I can find better things to spend 20USD on a month then a house I never really go to in a virtual world. I will still go on Second Life just will wander around and stuff and it should make for better photos on the site because I will not be at home as much. Anyway a fresh week is here and I already have my lunch made and stuff since I am taking my other sandwich I made last night for lunch. Joe was up all night as usual on his day off and was watching a movie around 3AM when I got up. I had some pizza and went back to bed for a couple hours. I said to him he really needs to be going out and looking for a job because it is unfair that I work 40 hours a week and he works 15 hours a week. He has off until Thursday so he says that he can go Tuesday or Wednesday heh. I bet he sleeps all day today and is up all night again and doesn’t go looking for any jobs on Tuesday or Wednesday either. We shall see. It seems my 45USD a month unlimited talk and text and internet phone is shut off today. I should have really activated it on a payday so that I could pay for it and it won’t get shut off like that. I guess it is no big deal because I just login online Thursday night and pay 45 dollars and it is back on for another month. Well I guess I will browse some internet sites now and pack my lunch and stuff and then shower and get ready for work. I have to stop by the store to get change for the bus still because I only have a 10 dollar bill. Well back after work….

….herro! It is 7PM and I am home from work and stuff. It was a fairly good Monday at work and actually not that busy. I think it was due to the holiday or something. Anyway work went well and I got home at 4:45PM or so and Joe was playing on Second Life. Tonight I decided to cook chicken tacos with spanish rice. We had lots of good stuff like cheese and tomato and lettuce and red onion and sour cream and green sauce to put on our tacos and still have some left over for my lunch tomorrow and Joe’s lunch. I am really tired and honestly do not feel like blogging. I feel like this every night anymore and have been considering not doing my blog for a month or so. Ever since Joe and I moved the daily routine will be well…routine. Since I am giving up my home in Second Life I will probably activate my World of Warcraft account again and pop on SL once in a while and play WoW after work. Anyway it has been a swell year and a half blogging and lots of twists and turns. In the morning’s now I can spend time enjoying reading internet sites and things like that instead of feeling like I have to blog and plurk. Anyway I am going to sign off for a while and maybe will blog in a month or so. That’s it for now! Take care Universe!

Good Morning Friday! It is 5:30AM MST and I am awake and it is finally warming up in here. I come home yesterday and it was blazing hot and nearly 90F inside our apartment and I have no clue why Joe would turn it up that high. This morning I wake up and it was 60F inside because he had the fucking heat turned off. I mean shit it is 25F/-4C outside and the heat certainly needs to be on. He never remembers things and said he didn’t remember turning it to 85F yesterday. I hope we can get this whole heat thing settled in the next few days. I understand things are new here but the extreme heat and cold is getting annoying. Well I am sitting on my front porch on Second Life having my last coffee at this house. I have to take my stuff down tonight because the rent was due and my pal Faithy said she didn’t have the money to loan me for the weeks rent so I have to move. She lives across the street and there is 1 day left on hers too so I reminded her about her rent. I figure she will let me put my little skybox up over there so I can have a place to sit and change and stuff. Well today is Friday and my last day of work this week. I took another 1/2 floating holiday off next Friday which is payday so I will work 8-12 then and get off at noon. Well today after work I am supposed to meet Joe at the food court in the mall at 4:40PM and then we are going to walk over to Wal~Mart across the highway together and do our grocery shopping. We have to finish that by 5:55PM or so so that we can catch the bus home. I have three of those big recycle Wal~Mart bags and I figure we can buy three more and have enough room for all of our groceries. Hopefully the bus driver doesn’t bitch. I took three bags on the bus before and she didn’t say anything so we should be good. After that I guess if I have room in my hands we can stop by the liquor store which is on the way from the bus stop and get my beer and unload the groceries and then it is parlay time. If not I will have to walk back up there I guess. I don’t have anything planned for tonight but Joe said he wanted pizza so I told him he can cook those because I cooked all week. I will have my pizza at 3AM or something when I go to sleep hehe. Well it is time for me to go for my after coffee smoke and then make my lunch and shower and get ready. Back after work….

Hai! It is 7:30PM MST and 3 hours after getting out of work I am in my jammies with a cold beer in hand. Work went well today and stuff and I had some good green chili stuff with pork I think in it with tortillas that the lady that sits across from me and gives me a ride home most days passed over. That was very good and for lunch I just had chips and a drink because I wasn’t very hungry. Joe was a bit mad at me because I got pissed off at him for not setting his alarm and I was afraid he wouldn’t go to work on time. All went well thought and after work I met him at the mall food court at 4:40PM. We walked over to Wal~Mart and got there about 4:50PM and did our grocery shopping which was a rush trying to get it done but we got everything on the list. We had our large mesh bags so we had 6 bags like I thought we would. The bus showed up right when we got out of the store and we hopped on and headed towards home. Joe and I stopped at the liquor store across from the bus stop and got our beer and stuff and headed home which was a real bitch with the heavy bags and ice. I think maybe next time we should take the short bus on the weekend that comes right to your house. Anyway we came home and I started unloading the groceries and Joe had to go drop that letter I wrote on Tuesday off at his aunt and uncles and pickup my carton of cigarettes. They are at bingo so he is going to leave the letter and the phone and 50USD for the phone last month. We got him a phone card for my old phone and that is charging now and stuff and should work for him. As you can see in the photo the fridge is pretty full with all the important things like beer and eggs and milk. Hehe there is lots of other stuff but it is in drawers and tons of stuff in our cabinets that are not pictured. This is what sucked the first 5 months living at his aunt and uncles was the whole food situation. Now we have lots of good meals to eat next week and stuff. Anyway I took the trash out and cleaned up a bit and am now in my jammies waiting for Joe to get home from his 16 block walk. I wonder if he is getting Subway(r) for himself for dinner. I did not eat and am sitting here drinking beer now and listening to Afro Man and about to go on Second Life I guess. I figure before bed I will have a couple of cheese sausages. Anyway I will be too drunk I figure to bother with blogging or I will write something stupid at 3AM and erase it at 1PM tomorrow I figure so I might as well close down today’s post. Good Morning! It is 5:15AM MST and I am sorta awake and having my coffee and stuff. It is nice to be able to login to Second Life as I do every morning and sit at home and listen to music as well. In SL I am having a catnip tea on the front porch of the house I cannot afford this week. I think I have 4 days rent left on it since I was supposed to pay last week but had to pay for RL apartment. I also canceled my World of Warcraft account because that was due Friday but I will get that again eventually. My pal Faithy offered to loan me the money for my rent a week ago but I thought I was going to need two weeks but I realized one week will get me from this Friday till next Friday when I get paid. I would hate to lose my house on Second Life. Feels pointless going on SL when you have no home. Anyway Joe is sleeping still and probably will be for a while I would imagine since he has had the whole week off so far. He works Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday. His mother is supposed to come pick him up on the weekends but every time she has said that before she never showed up. I really hope she doesn’t screw this up for us because he can take the CATC bus to work on the weekend. That bus is not the normal bus but one that runs on the weekend and is on call. You call a week ahead of time and they pick you up from the house and drop you off at your destination for 5USD. So it would be 10USD for him to go to work and back. I don’t work on the weekend so I can take the regular bus to work and see how this works out with that lady taking me home. If worse comes to worse I can take the bus home as well if I need to. Well in the morning now I usually have my coffee and then smoke and then make my lunch and shower and then head to the bus stop. I get to work an hour early so I have my breakfast and watch the news. Anyway I am going to go smoke and make lunch and then head to work because I have to be at the bus stop in an hour. Back after work….

Hiya! It is 5:20PM MST and I am home from work. Today I got to work early as usual and had my breakfast and while doing so I wrote a menu for next week. I figure we can have Chicken Tacos & Spanish Rice, Pasta & Garlic Bread, Pork Chops & Spinach & Mashed Potato, Frozen Pizza, Fish Fillets & Broccoli & Mac and Cheese, Chili and Reuben Sandwiches. That will be 7 days worth of meals and I will prepare a shopping list with it organized isle by isle so we can shop quickly and catch the bus home Friday. Work was typical except for all the crazies calling at the start of the day. It was a pretty nice day today and actually above freezing. I got a ride home from the lady from work and as you can see in the photo it is our kitchen. I am preparing to cook a pork loin roast and peas and carrots and mac and cheese. That should be tasty but might be hard to cut with a butter knife. Friday we should get a pack of steak knives or something I guess. Joe is here playing on Second Life like he has been all day and I guess thrilled that we have internet. Anyway I gotta go check on dinner now and might login to Second Life myself. Back in a bit….

….yo! It is 9:30PM MST and I am sleepy. Dinner was delicious and after dinner I played a bit on Second Life and then browsed the web. After that Joe and I decided to watch Alvin and the Chipmunks: The Squeakquel. That movie was amusing and I enjoyed it and stuff. Anyway time for the last smoke and to get ready for bed. Well hello there! It is 7:20AM MST on Thursday and I got up early this morning. It is kinda cold out and -14F/-26C with a wind chill of -32F/-36C. Heh when you go outside you can feel the moisture on the little hairs in your nose instantly freeze. I am just hanging out in Second Life on the top balcony at home and chatting in a geeky group chat now about how to circumvent hardware bans. Anyway I talked to my mom this morning and it is cold in Florida and I would love it to be that temperature here. I also called my father at work to let him know he can send the 600USD via Western Union today. I told that guy at the apartment I would be paying Thursday or Friday so if my dad sends it today it will be available for me to pickup tomorrow. I know I still have to see the guy tonight at 7:30PM but I am pretty sure he wouldn’t be having me come down there in person just to tell me no and would not have spent the 50USD for the background if he wasn’t interested in renting to me. I hope all goes well tonight because I will then have to send the Western Union back along with the fees my father paid as well as the fees to send it back. It won’t be the end of the world though if that has to be done because I did get a free day on my paycheck that I wasn’t supposed to get paid for. Anyway I am going to be anxious all day waiting to go see this guy but once I get my yes answer I am going to be tickled pink and with the money coming I will be all set to leave work at 2:30PM tomorrow and go collect the money and pay the guy. That will be swell to be able to sleep in our own apartment tomorrow. I am not sure if we will sleep here though tomorrow night. Might just hang out here one more night and then go there Saturday. I am nearly finished with my coffee now and need to go make my lunch and stuff. I think I will have my breakfast at work since I get there so early anyway. I tend to get there at 9:30AM and I don’t start until 10:30AM so I will bring my oatmeal with me today. Okie back later and hopefully with great news….

….YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY! It is 8:50PM and Joe and I are home with Subway(r) in tow. Right after the typical day of work (did get to see where my new cube is located and it is right in the middle of the Spanish queue lol) we walked the 9 blocks down to the apartment and stuff. I called the guy as soon as we got there and he came out and we walked upstairs. He put down my criminal record on the table and we went over everything on there and I explained it to him. That went well and he said we have the place! Joe and I were thrilled and looked it over one more time and stuff. I took 1/2 the day off tomorrow with a floating holiday and get off at 2:30PM and told the guy I would meet him around 3:30PM or 4PM to pay the deposit and the rent. My mom went and sent 700USD today with Western Union and my dad was nice enough to send an extra 100 so we can get pots and stuff. We just need a pot and a pan and garbage bags and things like that. Toilet paper too. And food to last us a week until Joe gets paid. I wanted to cook tonight but after walking 18 blocks in -5F/-21C temperatures I was kinda drained so we got 5 dollar footlong subs at Subway(r). We still have about 2 1/2 lbs of meat but I need to toss that out because it is bad after today. I guess living here with his aunt and uncle was good practice of living on your own since I am used to living at home. Now that I had a little practice I think we are good to go with having our own place. It will be less expensive too for us to live on our own. We just told his uncle that we got the place and I figure his aunt will be shocked and pissed. I am glad she went nuts over us using salt and pepper though because if that never happened I wouldn’t have ended up looking on Craigs List with Joe and finding the place. It is like everything fell into place the past week. I got my new work schedule which allows me to ride the bus. Then his aunt pissed me off where I was going to go home to Florida rather then live here. Then we found that apartment. Then my parents agreed to loan me money to get the apartment. Then it was payday and I have no bills. Then we got the apartment. Now Joe and I can live our happy life and not have to deal with a bunch of bullshit and stuff. Anyway I am really pooped because I have been going to bed late and getting up early. I have not been able to concentrate at work because of being anxious and worried this would fall through. Now that we have it I can relax and really relax tomorrow once the keys are handed to me. Well going to get in jammies now since I just finished dinner during this post and lay down and relax and watch TV. That’s it for today! Goodnight World!

Well good morning! It is 7:45AM MST on Tuesday and I am awake and stuff and just finished talking to my mom on the phone. I am having my morning coffee and a sit on the front porch on Second Life listening to the birds and stuff. Joe is awake and looking at me from the bed which surprises me because he never gets up so early. Anyway I guess my mom got her stuff back from a test she taken and yet again they say she has a small aneurysm. She had to go to the doctor again to figure out the course of action. Hopefully that will not be surgery and they use the approach of doing tests every six months or so to make sure it doesn’t get larger and all should be well I think. I had to let her know I wasn’t moving back to Florida and we talked about last nights salt and pepper incident. Joe and I were looking at apartments online last night and found a cool one by the hospital which was only 500USD a month. That included utilities and stuff too which was great. It was on top of someones house it appeared but had stairs going to the upstairs apartment and a private door. It was one bedroom and had a nice bathroom as well as a full kitchen and a little dining room. That would be perfect for us and we could both take the bus to and from work and all would be well. If I had 500USD because it was 500USD down and 500 A month I would go this evening and look at it and give them the money and move in. We don’t have anything like furniture or anything but we could get all that stuff eventually. I would be more then happy sleeping on the floor in a bunch of blankeys for a few weeks until we bought a bed or something. With that place all we would have to do is get cable and internet which is 100USD or so and have money to go to the laundry place and we would be all set. Anyway not much going on in Second Life this morning as usual so I am just having a sit here. I cannot wait until next week when I start my new shift and do not have to worry about a ride from work or to work. I have my health insurance now so I should see how bad it hits me when my paystub is available tomorrow online. I think my check will be 90USD less because I got all sorta of different things like short term disability and long term and life insurance and stuff like that. Anyway it is time for me to wash my fancy coffee mug Joe bought me and make my lunch and breakfast and then shower and head off to work. Until later….

….hiya! WOW what an exciting day It is 9PM MST and Joe and I just got home from our after work adventure. This morning before work I called the person about the apartment I mentioned earlier and found out that it is 550USD first month rent and 550USD deposit. I scheduled an appointment for Joe and I to go look at 7:30PM because I get off work at 7PM and it takes 10 minutes for me to get home from work. I talked to my mom today and my dad this afternoon and they will loan me 600USD until I get my income tax return. That is great and with the 670USD I will have Thursday that will be enough for Joe and I to move into that apartment. Money and food will be a bit tight the first week but Joe gets paid after that and we can get food and other stuff. Anyway I was excited all day at work because I knew we were going to look at that place and I hope that we get it. After work Joe was outside and we walked 8 blocks down the street and two blocks over to the apartment. There was a guy outside that we met and he took us upstairs and showed us the place. I am glad we made it right at 7:30PM. We took a look around and it was very clean and didn’t smell too odd. The bedroom was average and it had a little living room and a kitchen with table and stuff. I looked in the fridge and imagined it being full of food that we can actually eat and yummy leftovers like my chicken or spinach and chick pea curry and stuff. I didn’t really like the living room couch but I figure we can get a throw cover for it and some pillows and it will be swell. After looking at the place we filled out our applications and I told the guy as quick as he can get those approved the better because I am willing to move in Thursday or Friday. Hopefully he didn’t think Joe and I were raging homos or something and will not allow us to live there. The guy was pretty nice and we headed out after looking at the rental agreement that he showed us if the apps are approved. It was a plain and simple rental agreement and we don’t get our deposit back unless we stay 6 months which is fine with me. The stairs are a bit scary going down to the ground level and I am sure they are a ton of fun when it is icy and snowy. But really the place will be perfect for us. The bus stop is two blocks away and Joe and I can take the bus to and from work. He got it approved that he wouldn’t work the weekends because the bus doesn’t run on the weekends. There are restaurants nearby and even a huge liquor store a block away so I wouldn’t have to spend money at the pub anymore. There is also a meat market in that same shopping center so that is cool. The hospital is a block away so if I fall down the frightening stairs I won’t have far to go either. Anyway if all goes well the guy will call me Thursday or Friday and I can go pay him the money and get the keys and Joe has off Saturday and we can move in. One think I am sad about is Penut the dog. We cannot take him there and no one will take pit bulls. We are going to have to bring him to the animal shelter where they will kill him after 30 days. He is such a good dog and would make a great pal for someone and I really hate to see such a nice dog that I love get killed. There are no apartments that will take him though and we would be stuck here forever if we kept him and I am not living here much longer since I have had about enough of stuff. I figure Joe and I will keep our place nice and clean and there was a laundrymat nearby so we can go wash our clothes there. Anyway rather then ramble on all excited I am going to browse some websites now and stuff and get into my jammies and then watch a bit of TV in a while then get ready for bed. That’s it for today!
