The Lost Pixel

Morning! It is 5:30AM MST on Thursday and just two more days of work this week! I woke up at 5AM as usual and went out for my smoke and watched the helicopter land at the hospital a block down the road. That is always amusing and stuff. After that I made my RL coffee and seen a place that caught my interest on the Emerald Viewer login screen. I have logged into Second Life and am having a little wander at that place I seen. I guess my pal Faithy doesn’t have the money to loan me to keep my SL home so I will start moving my stuff out of it. I think next week when I get paid I will just re-activate my World of Warcraft account since that is only 14.95. I can be homeless on Second Life for a while since I do not come on much anyway. I will just come on SL to wander and stuff. Anyway I need to start getting ready for work soon and Joe has to work today as well. I think he works 9:30AM-3PM. His hours are really crappy these days and I think he only works 20 hours a week. I told him he has to figure something out because this is unfair that I work 40 hours a week and he works fucking 20 hours a week and gets to sit at home for days playing on the internet. Well I have to put dishes away now and have a smoke and make my lunch and shower and head to the bus stop. I think I will take the bus home rather then get a ride because I have to stop at the Wal~Mart and get some lettuce and tomato and maybe a cheap sharp knife because we are going to have tacos tonight and I forgot lettuce and tomato. Off for my exciting day of work then. Back later….

Ahh yes! It is 5:41PM MST and I am home. I have been home for about and hour now but have been fiddling around and stuff. Joe decided to work until 5PM today so is taking the 5:50PM bus which is the last one from the mall. As for me I got a ride home again and have been chilling out and stuff. Work went okay today besides the two store managers that called and the last store manager was a real dickhead. I heard him yelling at his employees and he was being very demanding with me as well. I told him I refuse to assist him and I will get a supervisor on the line for him. I got a supervisor on the line and was really pissed off and said “I have this store manager on the line that is really pissing me off….” so hopefully I don’t get in trouble for saying “Pissed Off” to a supervisor at work lol. The store manager hung up anyway before I could connect him over. I was going to file a report with his district manager but it was 4:20PM and I leave at 4:30PM and couldn’t be bothered. Anyway I am going to cook dinner in about 30 minutes and we are having beef tacos tonight. As you can see we still have that fucking purple desk but I am glad because I would have no place to put my computer. I am going to eventually get a nice glass desk and a decent chair. Now I take a chair from the kitchen to use the computer and move it back when I am done or we are watching movies. I am using my computer screen as a HDTV and stuff. Anyway I am going to probably move my furniture and house off of the land on Second Life since I don’t have the money this week for it and then I have to go online and change addresses for things so they come to the new apartment in RL. Well I am going to turn some music on now I guess and get started. Also I think I will download a movie for myself to watch. I am going to try to get Friday since I have not seen that in ages. ….well it is 9:30PM and I enjoyed watching Friday after our delicious tacos for dinner. Tomorrow is Friday actually and I am excited to finish the last day of work for the week and get the grocery shopping done so I can come home and have cold beers and download music to listen to and stuff. Well hello there! It is 7:20AM MST on Thursday and I got up early this morning. It is kinda cold out and -14F/-26C with a wind chill of -32F/-36C. Heh when you go outside you can feel the moisture on the little hairs in your nose instantly freeze. I am just hanging out in Second Life on the top balcony at home and chatting in a geeky group chat now about how to circumvent hardware bans. Anyway I talked to my mom this morning and it is cold in Florida and I would love it to be that temperature here. I also called my father at work to let him know he can send the 600USD via Western Union today. I told that guy at the apartment I would be paying Thursday or Friday so if my dad sends it today it will be available for me to pickup tomorrow. I know I still have to see the guy tonight at 7:30PM but I am pretty sure he wouldn’t be having me come down there in person just to tell me no and would not have spent the 50USD for the background if he wasn’t interested in renting to me. I hope all goes well tonight because I will then have to send the Western Union back along with the fees my father paid as well as the fees to send it back. It won’t be the end of the world though if that has to be done because I did get a free day on my paycheck that I wasn’t supposed to get paid for. Anyway I am going to be anxious all day waiting to go see this guy but once I get my yes answer I am going to be tickled pink and with the money coming I will be all set to leave work at 2:30PM tomorrow and go collect the money and pay the guy. That will be swell to be able to sleep in our own apartment tomorrow. I am not sure if we will sleep here though tomorrow night. Might just hang out here one more night and then go there Saturday. I am nearly finished with my coffee now and need to go make my lunch and stuff. I think I will have my breakfast at work since I get there so early anyway. I tend to get there at 9:30AM and I don’t start until 10:30AM so I will bring my oatmeal with me today. Okie back later and hopefully with great news….

….YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY! It is 8:50PM and Joe and I are home with Subway(r) in tow. Right after the typical day of work (did get to see where my new cube is located and it is right in the middle of the Spanish queue lol) we walked the 9 blocks down to the apartment and stuff. I called the guy as soon as we got there and he came out and we walked upstairs. He put down my criminal record on the table and we went over everything on there and I explained it to him. That went well and he said we have the place! Joe and I were thrilled and looked it over one more time and stuff. I took 1/2 the day off tomorrow with a floating holiday and get off at 2:30PM and told the guy I would meet him around 3:30PM or 4PM to pay the deposit and the rent. My mom went and sent 700USD today with Western Union and my dad was nice enough to send an extra 100 so we can get pots and stuff. We just need a pot and a pan and garbage bags and things like that. Toilet paper too. And food to last us a week until Joe gets paid. I wanted to cook tonight but after walking 18 blocks in -5F/-21C temperatures I was kinda drained so we got 5 dollar footlong subs at Subway(r). We still have about 2 1/2 lbs of meat but I need to toss that out because it is bad after today. I guess living here with his aunt and uncle was good practice of living on your own since I am used to living at home. Now that I had a little practice I think we are good to go with having our own place. It will be less expensive too for us to live on our own. We just told his uncle that we got the place and I figure his aunt will be shocked and pissed. I am glad she went nuts over us using salt and pepper though because if that never happened I wouldn’t have ended up looking on Craigs List with Joe and finding the place. It is like everything fell into place the past week. I got my new work schedule which allows me to ride the bus. Then his aunt pissed me off where I was going to go home to Florida rather then live here. Then we found that apartment. Then my parents agreed to loan me money to get the apartment. Then it was payday and I have no bills. Then we got the apartment. Now Joe and I can live our happy life and not have to deal with a bunch of bullshit and stuff. Anyway I am really pooped because I have been going to bed late and getting up early. I have not been able to concentrate at work because of being anxious and worried this would fall through. Now that we have it I can relax and really relax tomorrow once the keys are handed to me. Well going to get in jammies now since I just finished dinner during this post and lay down and relax and watch TV. That’s it for today! Goodnight World!

Well it is Thursday, December 31st 2009 and I should have probably whipped up a best of 2009 blog post. Too late now because I still am not feeling that swell and I do have to go to work soon. Anyway it is 8AM MST and I woke up freezing as usual. After going out for a smoke and getting my coffee I logged onto Second Life and was teleported to my pal Faith Hilra’s putt putt skybox. I do not understand why she has beautiful land and goes to that lame skybox. Well I figured out why it is so cold in the bedroom and it seems Joe closed the vents for the heat. After opening those it seems to be heating up in here now. Maybe tomorrow I won’t be freezing and poor Penut won’t have ice cold dog ears. Well I slept pretty well last night and only think I woke up once. I woke up with the usual sore throat because of the cold in here but after my coffee it seems to have mostly gone away. I have been browsing internet sites trying to price what our bus and airline tickets will be for our trip to Florida in March. It seems it is 100USD per person for our round trip bus ticket from Casper, WY to Denver, CO where the airport is. That is about 7 hours away and I figure we will go to work on the Friday before the trip and then take the bus at midnight and arrive around 7AM. There is a free shuttle that goes from the bus station to the airport. I will try to get a flight out around noon and then most flights have one stop. I am thinking of choosing American Airlines over Southwest because American stops in Dallas and Southwest usually stops in Chicago. Why go north when you are going south I figure. The airline round trip will be ~300USD each so the total cost should be 800USD for our travel round trip. I only have two paychecks I can spend on this plus the third full paycheck for the trip. I may have to dip into the income tax funds or something as well. Anyway Joe’s alarm is going off and he is just laying there as usual. I bet he sets it for every half an hour now and it keeps going off. Anyway I must go make my lunch now and my breakfast and then it will be time to shower and do what I do every day. Back later….

Well hello there! It is 7:30PM MST and I am home from work. Actually I rode to work with Joe today and he started at 10AM and I walked from the mall to work and started firing all my systems up and stuff. When I pulled up the scheduling program to check when my breaks were it said I was supposed to be there at 8:30AM! That kinda freaked me out so I loaded my shit up and logged in the phone at 10:05AM. Anyway later in the day I had to talk to the operations manager about my schedule because it has not changed in months and there are people with less seniority getting off work earlier then I. He said there is a problem with my schedule and they will look into it Monday. He also was nice enough to code me in as E-Time which means it was unpaid but a scheduled absence so I will not get a half a day off on my record. I guess the call center closes at 6PM today even though some of us have to work tomorrow which sucks. I got off work at 5PM just like Joe and we went to cash his paycheck and then got dropped off at the Chinese Buffet. That place was packed and delicious as always and we walked home after that. I guess his aunt and uncle are at some 12 hour bingo thing that lasts until 2AM. While Joe was busy clogging up the toilet taking a shit I picked up all the bullshit on the floor in the living room and vacuumed there and our room. After that I moved the new microwave they gave us for Christmas into our bedroom and put it on top of our mini fridge. Also I moved my instant coffee and some sugar and my half and half and oatmeal in here. I put some dish detergent in the bathroom and have a bowl and a spoon and a coffee cup in here so I don’t need to go to the kitchen in the morning except to make a sandwich. Actually I just went and got a plate and my sandwich stuff and put it in here so now I don’t even have to go to make a sandwich. I get tired of going in the kitchen and having to go around filth to make my coffee and a sandwich. At least I can control how clean it is in here. Also I won’t have to dirty dishes so I can’t get bitched at because of it. Anyway I am finally in my jammies and put all my stuff away including the 40USD Joe gave me and stuff. That was swell of him. The dogs are all out there sleeping and Penut is in here because I have the lights out and that seems to calm them down. Joe is on Second Life laughing at something and as you see I logged into World of Warcraft to take a photo of my avatar on there. I got new robes and different things that are more armor and stuff. I guess this evening I will sit around and drink lemonade iced tea because we both have to work tomorrow. Joe has off Saturday and said he doesn’t give a shit if I drink so I might walk to the bar after work and pickup an 18 pack of beer or something. I’m not sure if his aunt and uncle are going to bingo though so if they are who knows. I will figure that out then. Well I would like to enjoy my evening now and maybe go on Second Life and pack up the Christmas stuff or play World of Warcraft and then head to sleep. Back before bed….

Well it is 9PM and I am at some place called Isla Menorca chilling out by the water and stuff. I uninstalled all of my Second Life clients because I was trying to get voice to work to test the new headset Joe got me for Christmas. I decided to try Emerald Viewer again and it is working just fine except the voice isn’t working. Not quite sure what the issue is and I will try to figure it out some other time. Anyway Joe is still goofing around on SL as well and I just installed the latest Nvidia drivers. For some reason Emerald crashes a lot with an OpenGL error with the drivers I had. Coolviewer seems much faster then Emerald and crashes less under Windows 7. I will try Emerald I guess with the latest drivers and see how that works. Anyway I doubt I will be up at midnight and will probably be wrapping things up soon on the computer because this chair makes my back hurt. I think I might watch TV for a few hours after I explore a bit more and then head to sleep. Night 2009. That’s it for this year! Goodnight Earth!

Well hello there! It is 7PM MST on Christmas Eve and I thought it is a good time to start today’s post. I took the day off of work today so I was being sleepy until about noon. Joe had to get up early for work and woke me up so I can give him the receipt for his uncles shirt that had to be taken to exchange. I am glad he thought about that. I fumbled through my wallet and found the receipt and gave him 5 dollars in case the larger size was more money. After that I went back to sleep until noon and then woke up and was hungry. I called my mom and after that I ordered Papa Johns pizza on the internet. I like that they have internet ordering and you can use your credit card. I would have ordered Pizza Hut but the one here only allows internet ordering for takeout which is stupid. Anyway Joe got home from work a little after 3PM and we were having a snuggle as you can see in the photo and Joe had his half a pizza and all is well. We decided to take a nap after that for a couple of hours and are now up. I just got back from the store because I wanted some Gatorade and a couple hot dogs and some Doritos. Joe is out in the living room watching a Christmas movie and I will head out there in a few minutes. Anyway I will watch a little TV out there and then I have to wrap this last gift and then we can wait for Santa to come. Well back later…..

Hello! It is 10PM now and I am about to get off of the computer I think. Pretty much this evening Joe has been on Second Life and I have been laying down watching movies. I decided to buy a new pet on World of Warcraft that was 10USD. I had a freebie one that I got for signing up for a battle.net account but that one sucks because everyone has it. This pet is common I guess too but less common then the other. Anyway I also spend 15USD on 1500 WoW gold which you are not supposed to buy but it would take me ages to make 1500 gold. I figured that would be a good way to start getting better armor and things like that. I am trying to get my outfit to match but as you can see I bought better clothes but they seem to not match. I would rather have better armor then match anyway. Well anyway I got my gold on WoW and am going to logoff now I guess and watch a movie and head to sleep. Good Morning! Wow I brought up the thing to do my morning blog post but forgot to blog. Anyway it is Thursday and 8:30AM MST and I have one hour to shower and then I have to walk to the bus stop. It is rather warm out today and 37F/3C out and the wind has stopped so that means it is going to rain or snow. It says on the weather it is snowing but I looked out the window and there is no snow. I figure it will drizzle rain today. It is funny here when it drizzles people are afraid to go in the rain and I laugh at that. In Florida it rains buckets at a time and I certainly wouldn’t go in that but give me a break with drizzle. Anyway Joe just left for work and was up the usual 5 minutes before it is time to go and stuff. He was mad at me because I was bitching about him taking a shower and wouldn’t give me a kiss goodbye at first. Anyway I hopped on Second Life this morning and talked to my pal Faithy for a few minutes before she went AFK for a long time so I logged off. After that I made my lunch and made a fried egg sandwich for breakfast. It seems the snow is melting a bit more which is good outside and it should be an okay day. Anyway I gotta bag up some potato chips for my lunch and take a shower now. After that I will chill out for a bit before I have to head for the bus. Back after work….

….yaaaaaaaaaaaay! It is 8:23PM and I am home from work. Today at work went well and it wasn’t as many of those Maxperks calls so I was happy. I got stuck on a call before lunch and ended up having to go to lunch 45 minutes late which sucked but was okay at the same time. At least tomorrow is Friday. Anyway I came home from work and seen I got some mail and one of which was a Christmas card from my grandmother. I opened it up and was glad to get one and there was some money inside which was swell. I hung up the card with the others around our mirror and Joe and I decided to go to dinner at Dragon Wall which is the Chinese buffet we go to all the time. I never get bored of Chinese. That was delicious as always although the jalapeno chicken was a bit more hot then usual. We just got home and I was going to watch a movie that I downloaded but it appears to be a fake. I kinda figured it would be anyway. I seem to also have received my health insurance card from work although I am not quite sure why it says BlueCross BlueShield of Illinois since I live in Wyoming. Well at least I have that when it goes in effect in two weeks. Anyway I am sorta tired so I am going to get in my pajamas and pour a soda and lay down and watch some television. I didn’t sleep that well last night because Penut decided to come on the bed which he has been good at not doing.
