The Lost Pixel

Hello! It is 7:20AM MST and I am at work and getting ready and stuff. I finally slept more last night and woke up at 5AM and caught the bus like yesterday. It wasn’t as cold today so that was swell. I am sorta pissed off this morning because I paid 475USD rent on Christmas which covers the January rent where we used to live. We only lived there a week in January so as far as I am concerned we used 120USD of that rent plus utilities so we will say 150USD. That leaves 325 of free rent that Joe’s aunt and uncle got. They call last night saying that we owe 250USD in utilities for December and that is bullshit. I talked to my parents and grandmother and he talked to his mother and they all said screw that and not to pay it. That extra 325USD they got for rent they can use to pay for the utilities as far as I am concerend. He gets his phone on their family plan for 50USD a month so I told him to pay them 50USD for the phone in December and give the phone back. I have a prepaid phone he can use for a week and he can get a 30USD prepaid phone card and I will buy him another phone next week like mine with the unlimited voice, text, internet. We need money for groceries this week and he even said for me to go without my cigarettes which is bullshit because I just paid 1100USD + 200USD for groceries to get us into our new place. That is 1300USD and that would have bought a lot of cigarettes. I really thought when we moved that all this shit we used to deal with would be gone but I guess not. Anyway the cable people are coming over today between 10AM-12PM to install internet. We walked down to the cable company last night and got Joe put on the account and stuff and he is off today and tomorrow so he will be there when the cable people come to install. Tonight I can actually put pretty photos on my blog and resume normal operation. At least we can watch movies and TV shows from the internet now. Well I better go put my lunch away and eat breakfast. Back after work as long as there is internet….

Heh! Hello! This photo looks a bit out of place but I did not have internet before and I seem to have it now at home. It is 6:15PM MST and I am home from work and fed and stuff. It was a typical day at work and the bus this morning ran on schedule and all went great. After work some lady that is in the cube next to me asked if I would like a ride home since I live by her. It turns out she lives across the street from me so she said I could get ride from work and to work if I want. I told her a ride home would be cool but I can get to work myself. Today at work I wrote a letter as Joe asked to his aunt and uncle and put all the figures showing we paid the rent for a month and do not live there. With my figures they actually would owe us after I prorated the rent and utilities for this month and put down full utilities for last night 43USD. He will give the letter to them Friday and it is what it is. Anyway after I get home from work the numpty that installed the internet seemed to think it would be attractive to put a cable across the living room to my computer. First thing I said is that shit has to go. He had my computer hardwired to the router which is not needed because I have wireless and it works fine. I unhooked the modem and router and decided to hide that in the corner of the living room so no one will notice. This guy is getting in the attic when it comes time to install the TV in the bedroom and out here and fishing cables down the wall. I am not having fucking cables all over the place. Anyway the internet works fine and it was time to cook dinner so I cooked Joe and I cheeseburgers and put bacon on mine. We also had mac and cheese and beans with our dinner. The dinner was delicious and last time I cooked burgers I got gawked over the whole time at his aunt and uncles and yelled at because I used salt and pepper. I ended up taking two bites of my burger last time and throwing everything out. That same night we found this apartment on Craigslist. Anyway I rinsed the dishes off after dinner and went out for a smoke and was going to come in to wash them but Joe decided it is his civic duty to wash dishes. I am glad because it has been a long day and I am tired. I guess since we have no cable TV yet we can watch movies and shows on the internet. My computer screen is almost as large as most bedroom HDTV’s so it worked fine for watching DVD’s and will work fine for that. Well going to get changed into my jammies and I think we are going to watch a movie on Netflix or something. Back before bed…..

….well it is 9:30PM and I took a photo earlier for this segment but I am too tired to bother plugging the camera into the computer to upload it. After dinner I checked my email which had a ton of stuff in it and did various other things that people do that do not have internet for many days. After that Joe and I watched Driving Miss Daisy which I have not seen in ages on Netflix. In the middle of the movie we had Cocoa Krispies and now it is time for me to go to bed. I figure Joe will be up for a while since he was having internet withdraws and is off of work tomorrow so I shall retire to my quarters and go to sleep. That’s it for today! Goodnight Earth!

Well good morning! It is 7:45AM MST on Tuesday and I am awake and stuff and just finished talking to my mom on the phone. I am having my morning coffee and a sit on the front porch on Second Life listening to the birds and stuff. Joe is awake and looking at me from the bed which surprises me because he never gets up so early. Anyway I guess my mom got her stuff back from a test she taken and yet again they say she has a small aneurysm. She had to go to the doctor again to figure out the course of action. Hopefully that will not be surgery and they use the approach of doing tests every six months or so to make sure it doesn’t get larger and all should be well I think. I had to let her know I wasn’t moving back to Florida and we talked about last nights salt and pepper incident. Joe and I were looking at apartments online last night and found a cool one by the hospital which was only 500USD a month. That included utilities and stuff too which was great. It was on top of someones house it appeared but had stairs going to the upstairs apartment and a private door. It was one bedroom and had a nice bathroom as well as a full kitchen and a little dining room. That would be perfect for us and we could both take the bus to and from work and all would be well. If I had 500USD because it was 500USD down and 500 A month I would go this evening and look at it and give them the money and move in. We don’t have anything like furniture or anything but we could get all that stuff eventually. I would be more then happy sleeping on the floor in a bunch of blankeys for a few weeks until we bought a bed or something. With that place all we would have to do is get cable and internet which is 100USD or so and have money to go to the laundry place and we would be all set. Anyway not much going on in Second Life this morning as usual so I am just having a sit here. I cannot wait until next week when I start my new shift and do not have to worry about a ride from work or to work. I have my health insurance now so I should see how bad it hits me when my paystub is available tomorrow online. I think my check will be 90USD less because I got all sorta of different things like short term disability and long term and life insurance and stuff like that. Anyway it is time for me to wash my fancy coffee mug Joe bought me and make my lunch and breakfast and then shower and head off to work. Until later….

….hiya! WOW what an exciting day It is 9PM MST and Joe and I just got home from our after work adventure. This morning before work I called the person about the apartment I mentioned earlier and found out that it is 550USD first month rent and 550USD deposit. I scheduled an appointment for Joe and I to go look at 7:30PM because I get off work at 7PM and it takes 10 minutes for me to get home from work. I talked to my mom today and my dad this afternoon and they will loan me 600USD until I get my income tax return. That is great and with the 670USD I will have Thursday that will be enough for Joe and I to move into that apartment. Money and food will be a bit tight the first week but Joe gets paid after that and we can get food and other stuff. Anyway I was excited all day at work because I knew we were going to look at that place and I hope that we get it. After work Joe was outside and we walked 8 blocks down the street and two blocks over to the apartment. There was a guy outside that we met and he took us upstairs and showed us the place. I am glad we made it right at 7:30PM. We took a look around and it was very clean and didn’t smell too odd. The bedroom was average and it had a little living room and a kitchen with table and stuff. I looked in the fridge and imagined it being full of food that we can actually eat and yummy leftovers like my chicken or spinach and chick pea curry and stuff. I didn’t really like the living room couch but I figure we can get a throw cover for it and some pillows and it will be swell. After looking at the place we filled out our applications and I told the guy as quick as he can get those approved the better because I am willing to move in Thursday or Friday. Hopefully he didn’t think Joe and I were raging homos or something and will not allow us to live there. The guy was pretty nice and we headed out after looking at the rental agreement that he showed us if the apps are approved. It was a plain and simple rental agreement and we don’t get our deposit back unless we stay 6 months which is fine with me. The stairs are a bit scary going down to the ground level and I am sure they are a ton of fun when it is icy and snowy. But really the place will be perfect for us. The bus stop is two blocks away and Joe and I can take the bus to and from work. He got it approved that he wouldn’t work the weekends because the bus doesn’t run on the weekends. There are restaurants nearby and even a huge liquor store a block away so I wouldn’t have to spend money at the pub anymore. There is also a meat market in that same shopping center so that is cool. The hospital is a block away so if I fall down the frightening stairs I won’t have far to go either. Anyway if all goes well the guy will call me Thursday or Friday and I can go pay him the money and get the keys and Joe has off Saturday and we can move in. One think I am sad about is Penut the dog. We cannot take him there and no one will take pit bulls. We are going to have to bring him to the animal shelter where they will kill him after 30 days. He is such a good dog and would make a great pal for someone and I really hate to see such a nice dog that I love get killed. There are no apartments that will take him though and we would be stuck here forever if we kept him and I am not living here much longer since I have had about enough of stuff. I figure Joe and I will keep our place nice and clean and there was a laundrymat nearby so we can go wash our clothes there. Anyway rather then ramble on all excited I am going to browse some websites now and stuff and get into my jammies and then watch a bit of TV in a while then get ready for bed. That’s it for today! Hello! It is 12:30PM MST on Tuesday and I just got out of bed to make a sandwich and have some greens. The aspirin upsets your tummy so I figured I would get something in it. I didn’t sleep well last night and had a sore throat all night and Penut kept wanting to get in the bed again. He puts his face on the side of the bed and looks up for a few minutes to see if you are sleeping. After that he hops on the bed and snuggles in. I think I kicked him off 5 times last night. Anyway about 6AM I still felt sick so I set my alarm for 9AM so I can call in to work. I really did not want to call in again but I don’t want this cold to last me all week and want to rest today and drink lots of fluids. I tried resting after Joe left for work but Joe’s aunt is so loud all the time she kept waking me up being loud all morning. She is finally gone for a few hours so after this I will lay down and nap I think. I just hopped on Second Life and I wish I had a laundry basket to lay in and sleep like in the photo. I was talking to my pal Faith Hilra on there and my mom on the telephone. Joe works until 4PM today so I will go lay down until he gets home. I am washing my new jacket I got a couple months ago because it has dog hair on it and probably smells like a dog. I figure I will wash that and dry it and hang it in the coat closet or in the regular closet rather then the back of the chair. Actually I am going to get some hot water in the bath now and take a hot bath I think and then lay down. Okie back later….

….well it is 6:40PM and was kinda a waste of a day off to try to rest. Joe’s aunt was home today and was being loud all day except for about two hours. In that time I had a hot bath followed by a hot cocoa and then a snuggle and a nap for thirty minutes with Penut. After that I was woken up by the dogs making a ton of noise and his aunt and uncle coming home. I figured then it was pointless to try to sleep and she wanted me to come out and look at these dinners she got or something. Joe came home shortly after and I had a smoked beef brisket dinner and we watched some TV. The living room was a mess as usual because of their dogs chewing up everything. The thing is it is all household trash and not toys and Joe’s job now is to clean that up and it is unfair because Penut has nothing to do with that. Also since they are out to dinner Joe and I were discussing our food as well as dishes. Joe and I barely use any dishes and I am thinking once I get paid in a week and a half I am going to buy us some dishes and forks and spoons and stuff. We have our fridge and microwave in here now and we can cook stuff and wash our dishes in the bathroom sink. That way we do not have to hear shit about dishes anymore and they can realize that they are the ones filling both sinks and the counter up with dishes. I just assume lock Penut here in the bedroom all day since we have done that before as well and the whole mess in the living room they will realize it is their dogs as well. I don’t like us or Penut being used for an excuse for living filthy. Anyway I sorta feel better and think I will be okay with going to work tomorrow. I will buy a couple of things of Halls menthol cough drops before work and ride with Joe to work. I hope I don’t get fired though for taking two days off in under two weeks. I think if anything I would get a verbal warning or something that goes in your file. Anyway I think I might go on Second Life or World of Warcraft for a bit now and have a hot coffee. Hiya! It is 7:50AM MST and I am awake and having my morning coffee and was just taking a sleigh tour on Second Life. I was looking in search at those Winterfest places and decided to visit one because Christmas is almost over and I have not done anything too Christmasy. The sleigh tour was okay and a different way of having morning coffee rather then sitting at home. I did my usual morning routine of calling my mother and taking Penut outside for his morning pee and poop and he is now in the bed next to Joe. He usually sleeps most of the night now in his own bed and usually we only have to kick him out of the bed once now. Well there are three more workdays left this week and that is good because I am running out of stuff to bring for lunch. This weeks paycheck I get Thursday will go to rent so I will only have 215 dollars left for my food and stuff. I am not going to make lunch today and I will just pack a couple bags of chips because we are supposed to have meat and cheese and crackers and lemonade and iced tea in the lunchroom today. I figure I will snack on that stuff all day long and be good. Heh I am looking at this basket with all the socks and other shit in there that has been sitting here. Joe for some reason thinks doing the laundry is washing it and drying it and leaving it in the basket. I thought he would actually do the laundry last week but just washed it and expects me to hang it up. I will just do it myself next time because this certainly was no help and it actually was more work. Well it is sorta warm out this morning but it is supposed to snow in RL starting around 11AM. It will snow on and off all the way though Christmas so it should be good and slippery the next few days. I have enough money to take the bus one more day which is today and actually have to stop by the store before work because I have some pennies and stuff and I can’t be dropping that in the bus money thing. Well it is time for me to fiddle around and browse some websites now. After that I need to bag up my chips and have plain oatmeal for breakfast because that is all I have left. I guess it would be okay with sugar. Anyway Joe is off today and I figure he will be sleeping until late and then sit in front of Second Life all day and these clothes will sit here and stuff. Hiya! It is 8:15PM and I am home from work. It still has not snowed but is supposed so snow like crazy tonight and tomorrow. I should be able to get a ride to work tomorrow since I am broke and do not have the money for the bus. Anyway work was okay today and we had our tasty treats that consisted of different kinds of meat and different cheeses and grapes and different crackers and stuff. I seen a convoy of carts rolling by when I came in from smoking before work and stuff. At about 1PM I finally grabbed a huge plate and it was rather tasty. After that I just had some cheese and crackers for lunch and lemonade. Joe was up after a while and I chatted with him on AOL and stuff and it was an alright day. It was rather slow actually and I think people are off work this week and you just get the people that ordered on the website as a one time thing calling wondering where little Timmy’s Christmas gift is. I am good at telling them it isn’t coming in time because I worked in the lost package department at UPS and did that constantly around Christmas. After lunch I had to use the bathroom so I decided to take a photo of the toilet stall to share with the world. You can sorta see a shadow of me sitting there on the toilet taking the photo which I found amusing. After getting home from work Joe and I decided to have a pizza and we put extra stuff on it like salami and extra cheese. We couldn’t find the pizza pan and I guess with fresh pizza you cannot put it on the rack because it started falling through. It didn’t quite look like a pizza but it was tasty and we enjoyed it. It seems his aunt and uncle go to bingo four times a week now and go out to dinner other nights and only cool once or twice. We just paid 200 dollars and probably got two or three meals so Joe and I discussed we will just buy our own food. I mean I would like to have things like grilled pork chops with balsamic glaze and fresh veggies and stuff. I enjoy cooking things like that and it doesn’t take too long. I think we will start buying our own food because it is pointless to pay 100 dollars and wonder what you are going to have for dinner every night. It has been like that the past four months and I am going to change that to where we know we have dinner each night and stuff. Anyway I am going to get in my jammies now and play on either Second Life or World of Warcraft. I am leaning towards World of Warcraft. I wanna enjoy playing and not how to worry about blogging so I will end today’s post I think. That’s it for today! Goodnight Earth!

Good Morning Tuesday! It is 7:45AM MST and I have been up for about 45 minutes so far. I was talking to my mother on the phone for a bit and then decided to logon to Second Life. I guess they are doing rolling restarts so I landed in what seemed to be a mosh pit on porno island. I seem to always land there when my region is down. Anyway I joked around a little bit there and logged off and back in and was able to get to my house. I am having a sit now with Tristan the puddy having a catnip tea and my RL morning coffee. I would listen to music but I figure I might as well not wake Joe up since he went to bed at 6AM or something. I know he was still up at 5:45 when I looked at the clock. He used my computer last night for his all night long Second Life explorations which was good because I didn’t hear the clickity clack of the mouse and keyboard 2 feet from my sleepy head. He says he doesn’t like using my computer but I do not see why not. I have an awesome graphics card in it, a 23″ 1080p LCD monitor, more memory then his, super fast raid array…who wouldn’t like that. I never liked using his laptop because I was used to the fancy graphics on here and stuff and missed it. Anyway long story short that worked out better last night and I don’t want to play music to be rude and wake him up. I still don’t know why he had to be up all night considering this is his last day off and he has to do stuff. I think he will wake up at 3PM and hop on Second Life and lay in the bed on the laptop all day. I guess I will see when I get home. Anyway my Christmas stuff from my parents is in Kansas and I still need to send Christmas cards out. I can’t get to the fucking post office though working these odd hours which sucks and there are no stamps here. I think his uncle may be getting stamps today and maybe I can buy 2 of them to send my grandmother and parents their Christmas cards and maybe they will actually get them by Christmas. Well there is the front of my new living room set as you can see in the photo. I need to get a rug and something for the table there still. Well my coffee is nearly finished so I better go take Penut out for his cigarette and potty and then make my lunch and have my oatmeal for breakfast. Also need to shower and stuff. Back later….

Hiya! It is 8PM and I am home from work and fed and stuff. Today went well at work and I started filling out my Christmas cards between calls for the people on my team. I managed to get those filled out and passed out. Some people I don’t even know because they don’t sit in cubes around me and stuff. The calls were routine and I didn’t have many issues. Joe got up around noon and I talked to him then and he went off to shower and wash those towels and stuff. I am glad he got up early because he has to go to work early tomorrow and would have been up all night. After work I got home and had some sorta egg noodles with cream of mushroom soup and meatballs in them which was good and some corn. Joe was sitting here watching a movie that he likes and I am…well I am blogging. I am on World of Warcraft now and am going to do a few quests or something I think. I have not played for a few weeks and it is silly to pay 15USD a month for something you don’t play and I do enjoy it so why not. I think I will like WoW more once I understand it more and stop doing stuff alone on it. I think you can join groups and do raids or something. Oh I also figured out how to take screenshots without the user interface showing as you can see so I am happy now. Anyway I am off to play now. Back before bed….

….woohoo! Well that was fun playing WoW tonight. I managed to level up to a level 12 mage and fought lots of monsters and stuff. I did some quest where I had to kill 15 smugglers and 15 of something else which wasn’t all too hard. Took me a little while and I only died 5 times or so. I actually kept croaking because the screen kept going blank for 10 seconds at a time. I managed to turn the graphics to low and moving each slider up until I figured out what it was. I can have everything cranked up to ultimate except ground clutter for some reason. Anyway that is a good stopping point since I just went up a level and completed that quest. I think I will play a bit more tomorrow night and do another quest. Well time to lay down and watch TV for a bit. That’s it for today! Goodnight Universe!
